In Dee Forrest****** I am a mommy to four wonderful little boys. I love my role and want to remember every little detail of the days that I get to spend with them as a stay-at-home mommy. I am a homeschooling momma with a husband who is working full time along with full time seminary. This blog is to help me work through the daily, but mainly, it's to help me remember precious little moments that I never want to forget and cherish forever!

Funny Parker post...
Parker is just like me in the fact that he is EXTREMELY sentimental. The other day, there was a dead worm in the street and ants were eating it. Parker was so distressed over it. "Why are the ants eating it, mommy???"...."Well, Parker, in the animal world, when an animal dies, other animals eat the body...that's what the ants are doing...it's natural". That did not satisfy his tender heart towards this worm. After a long time of just watching it- he brushed the ants off and screamed with blissful joy that he had made the ants stop eating it. Then he picked up the worm and declared that he was bringing it inside so no more ants could eat it..he was rescuing it. Well, I was able to convince him to put it in the dirt where it would be safe...he was satisfied and his precious heart could rest :). I love that boy- I love his precious, compassionate heart.
Beckham
Oh my sweet ham of a Beckham!!
-The other day, he wanted me to lay in bed with him at night...so I laid down next to him and he put his arm around me. Loooooved that.
-Love how he calls his blanky "beee beee". So now, we all call it that. He will say "Maaa beee beee"...translation "my blanky" :)
-Love how he streams a million words together into a whole conversation and I might only understand 4 words.
- When he wants me to rock him he will say "Mama wock me" or "dada wock me".
-When he wants me to watch him do something he will yell "MEEEEEEE" and when I look at him he will perform
-I love how he calls Parker "ker-ker"
-Every single morning, without fail, he wants to snuggle on the couch after breakfast and watch cartoons. So he will say "nuuuuuuudul, mama", so I will sit on the couch and he will sit in my lap with his bee bee...it's pretty much heaven. One of my morning faves :)
-If he wants you to hold him, he will say snuggle...or "nuuuuuudul". :)
-At the swimming pool, when he gets cold, he will get out and lay down flat on the concrete to warm himself up. :) :) :) Soooo cute!
-When he is upset, typically me just holding his hand will make him happy...especially in the car when he is upset about something.
This little boy, he has my heart. I LOOOOOOOOOOOVE him!!!!!!

Growing up...
"Mommy, do you not want me to grow up???" says Parker when I tell him his is my baby. "Well, I do, but I don't...I love having you as my baby, but you have to grow up, it just makes me sad when I think about you growing up....and leaving me", "But mommy- when I grow up, I'm going to live with you"!!! LOL, still makes me smile and warms my heart SO SO SO much, even though I know more than likely it's not true, he will probably not be living with me when he is old, I love to hear those words out of his 4 year old mouth. I love being a mommy...I love it I love it.
Truly Heaven...
Today during "rest time" I got to snuggle with BOTH boys in my arms on the couch laying down. It's heaven...absolutely heaven.

So this is the life of boys...
My precious Parkerman...my first baby...my little booger bear...talks NON-STOP about pooting and burping. "Mommy, I just pooted"..."Mommy, I just pooted on the tree"..."Mommy, I just pooted on the door"..."Mommy, I just pooted on Sancho" (and he bends over and strains his face while doing it)...and will laugh so hard about it. "Mommy, I just pooted on the kitchen chair". We were in TJ Max the other day and he just rips one...LOUD...in the dressing room and just laughs and laughs. I also hear "Mommy, did you hear me burp???" all of the time too!! Oh my goodness, this child, I think I am tired of hearing about his bodily noises, however, I am sadly aware that this is probably just the start of it!! I think I must say "Parker, you do not poot or burp in front of ladies, that's rude" a MILLION times a day!!! "Parker, mommy does not want to hear about your poots!!" hahaha...I'm sitting hear laughing as I type this, but AGH!!!, how am I going to survive 18 years of this crazy gross boy stuff!!!! LORD, SEND ME A GIRL,QUICK!!!! :)

Beckham...
I feel like I need to do an update on Beckham. I was just thinking the other day about all the funny ways Parker used to pronounce words and how it's so wild to me that he no longer says them, because he is talking so much better. Then I thought, I need to do a really good update on Beckham while he is learning how to talk so I can remember these days. Beckham still is having SUCH a hard time with articulation. However, he is talking, that's a good thing! I love how he says "M&M's" like "miaaah, miaaaah"...so cute. He and calls oatmeal "bow-booooow" which kind of makes me laugh because Parker called it "bieber"! haha. Parker is "ker ker" He doesn't say his "ee's" very well, but he can say his O's like a champ! "sancho", "poe poe", "boat", etc. He calls his lion "Baa!", and his blanky that he loves "baa-baa". All of his other words sound kind of like the word, so there isn't a whole lot of funny ones like Parker had.
My sweet Beckham is also such a snuggle-er. He needs to snuggle on a regular basis, and if you just give him that- he will be so much more happier. He will bring me his blanket in the morning and point at the couch and say his word for snuggle. I will confirm that's what he wants and go snuggle with him while watching cartoons. Once he fills his cup, he will leave and go play. If he's frustrated and wants some time with me and I'm busy and don't do it, he will be so fussy, but if I just stop what I'm doing and give him what he needs, it makes my life so much easier. Then, I thought, oh Father, never let me get so busy, that when my boys WANT me and NEED me I can't give them my undivided attention. I want to train them, that I WANT to be with them and spend time with them. They are getting to an age now where they play with each other so much- which is nice- I can do Bible study or things around the house. However, there are several times throughout the day, where Parker and Beckham want me to play with them. OK! You got it, baby! You want me involved, I'm coming, because I want to train you that I love spending time with you! I want you to always know I am right there, waiting to play, or talk or just "be". I love my baby boys!!
Ok, well, my precious Beckham still loves his trains, trucks, cars and big brother. He loves being silly and funny. He loves playing hide and seek with his big brother and he loves Sancho. He loves helping Parker do his chores like feeding the animals and washing dishes. He loves being thrown up in the air by daddy and he loves playing "this little piggy" on his toes. He LOVES to take his pants off and run around in a diaper and of course he hates shoes. He loves riding his bike and driving his big truck. I love him so so much and can't imagine life without him. You're still my boo bear my precious Beckham!!!

It's been a while!
Wow! I just realized that it's been since December that I have last blogged! Well, I think it's about time that I do an update on my precious boys...
Parker:
My little baby turned 4 on February 3rd. 4! I can't believe that I have a 4 year old...next year I will have a 5 year old!!! Ok, but not thinking about next year- I'm living today. He is SO precious. He just started Speech Therapy at a local elementary school twice a week. It has been a rough start- as we still have separation anxiety, but I feel like we might be getting into a grove. Luckily his teacher is super great and super patient with him.
He is a fantastic big brother. When P&B are together- all is well. At church last Sunday, I let Beckham go into Parker's class so he could have a cake ball with Parker for his birthday. All of their teachers went on and on about how much Parker comes out of his shell when he has Beckham with him...isn't that SO CUTE?? I love it. They are sharing the top bunk of a bunk bed together as well.
I was struggling with his separation anxiety issues recently when a experienced mother friend of mine was telling me about how we rush kids out of their shell these days. "Back in the day" in her country, kids didn't go to school till they were 7 or 8! She encouraged me to hold him close to me...don't push too many "outings" on him to grow him up- he will grow up and be ready to leave me- just enjoy this time now and don't push it. That was a great reminder to me. Loving holding him close and pouring myself into him ;)
He is slowly starting to be more aware of right and wrong...he will catch me saying a word that he is not aloud to say ("heck" for those of you dying to know! ha!), and remind me that we are not aloud to say that. I love it...I love that my little boy can hold me accountable and I love appreciating him for it. I love reinforcing that mommy LOVES it when he remind me to be good. :) One step closer...one step closer to Parker knowing Jesus and loving him with ALL his heart...my greatest desire in life for my boys.
He still loves to be rocked and I still love rocking him. ANYtime my Parker asks me to snuggle...I'M THERE!
Beckham:
Oh my Boo. He is absolutely the most precious little 2 year old. How can one baby boy be SO PRECIOUS and SUCH A STINKER all in the same day!!?? ha!!
He still has his brown "blanky" that he loves. He talks a lot, but his articulation is terrible. I have been working on his speech with the ipad lately, but I totally plan on putting him in the elementary school when he turns 3 like Parker for free speech therapy!! (obviously they evaluate them and they have to meet their "need" requirements first :)).
My boo bear LOVES to snuggle! If I ask him to snuggle and he tells me no, all I have to do is think about asking Parker to snuggle and Beckham comes running to steel my lap!!! haha, he's so cute.
He LOVES to ride bikes. He's so good at it too! He's rides his little trikes and rocks the town on them!
Ok, I must be off, I am falling asleep! I will come add more once I'm awake and alert! The main point is I still just adore my babies...no matter what, they hold my heart in such a beautiful way!!!
