In Dee Forrest****** I am a mommy to four wonderful little boys. I love my role and want to remember every little detail of the days that I get to spend with them as a stay-at-home mommy. I am a homeschooling momma with a husband who is working full time along with full time seminary. This blog is to help me work through the daily, but mainly, it's to help me remember precious little moments that I never want to forget and cherish forever!

PILLOWS....JUMP!!!
Tonight was sooooooo wonderful! After a bubble bath with Parker I went in to rock my sweet little Beckham to sleep. I was putting Beckham in his diaper and PJs and I was tickling him...he was giving me the biggest cheesiest grin- so I picked up Parker who was standing right next to me and showed him how I would tickle Beckham. Beckham started to laugh now...so I would tickle, tickle and Beckham would laugh...then Parker would laugh...it was SO wonderful hearing the sweet laughs of both my boys. I LOVE this mommy thing!!!!!! Then- I turned the lights off and began rocking Beckham. Parker just stayed in the dark room with me...bored I'm sure, but wanted to be there with me. I loved it. I love the fact that my little almost 2 year old wants to be where I am no matter how boring it may be. Parker and I went into the living room to call daddy back and while I was on the speakerphone Parker would just crawl up into my lap, snuggling with me. THE BEST! Then we went for round 10 of jumping onto the couch cushions. We take them off the couch- make a huge pallet on the floor and then jump off the couch onto the pillow pile. It's a BLAST! Tonight- Parker and I would stand next to each other...he would "push" me off onto the pillows. I would make a dramatic fall and he would LAUGH and then yell in a laughing excited voice "NIGHT NIGHT" (or "dight dight" as he pronounces it) and wave at me. I would act like I was snoring and he would jump on top of me...when I would "startle" awake we would just laugh and laugh and laugh! Then, Parker would jump on the couch and pat the cushion next to him saying "jump" for me to come up and start the process all over again. It was the best. I LOVE these quality moments of being silly and goofy with my boys.

Truck duty...
Even though it's work and even though it may be nasty weather oustide and even though it may be inconvenient....I love getting outside and letting Parker drive his new powerwheel truck...to see how excited he gets and how much fun he has....it thrills my heart!
Boooo Bear....
My little Boo Bear is now 3 months old! He is REALLY smiling and starting to get fun! He sleeps anywhere from 8-11 hours consecutively and is starting to be a lot happier during the day. It's amazing to me how during the 2-3 month age he and I bonded.....finally! It was so hard to get that time to bond with him while being mommy to Parker and when Beckham mainly slept, ate and CRIED! But wow....how he has stolen my heart so severely! I now understand how every mom of more than one told me that my heart would expand to love another. It has expanded and though Parkerman has 180% of my heart....Beckham now has the same! It's amazing and SOOOOO wonderful! To see my boo bear smile at me and get so excited his little feet kick... to gaze into each others eyes...it's Heaven....and only getting better!!!!
He makes me laugh....
I just love how my almost 2 year old can make me laugh!
How he took his stuffed polar bear and put him in his bed and when I asked if he was going "night night", Parker put his little finger up to his mouth and said "shhhhh".
How when Blake was cutting Parker's finger nails tonight- Parker put his little point finger out towards Blake for him to snip his nail.
How he gets so tickled when I laugh at something he is doing.
How he laughs when Blake throws Sancho up in the air and catches him
How he chases the puppies around the house with his shopping cart or with some other "torture" device and calls them by name...."Saaancho!!!!"..."Abby!!!!"..."SaaanCHO!!!!" ...."ABBYYYY!!!".
When he laughs at cartoons...see below video.
I love laughing at my little boy. I love watching him everyday grow into such a wonderful little man. OH, he is my little sunshine and I am so grateful for the privilege of raising him!!

Wish I could hold him in my arms forever....
Tonight I was rocking Beckham in my arms before bed and I realized how special of a moment we were in. I get to hold my baby..all of him...wrapped up in my arms for as long as I want to. This is such a short time where I am able to do this, because as he will get older he will squirm and want out of my arms. Such a sweet time to snuggle so close with each other....mommy and sweet baby boy....sharing kisses and songs....I wish I could hold him in my arms forever.

The fun is just beginning...
Beckham is 7 days shy of being 3 months old. I realized recently how in one month my sweet little boy has truly begun to blossom even more! He is smiling and coo'ing and laughing on his own instead of on demand. Before, I used to HOPE I would get a smile- now I am almost guaranteed a smile from that sweet baby. Before, I used to have to hold him all of the time because no one really wanted to hold him (due to a fussiness), now everyone wants to hold him because he is so happy and lovable!! I am falling more and more in love with him every minute of the day- he has truly become a part of me and when I am away from him...just like my sweet Parkerman...my heart aches for him.
Tonight- after I took a bubble bath with my two boys, I was sitting on the couch with Beckham propped up on my lap and Parker squeezed up right next to me with my arm around him. It felt so good....it's amazing how God allows your heart to fill up with so much joy by just being close to your children....just "being".
I never imagined in my wildest dreams motherhood could be this amazing. I never imagined that just laying next to your toddler, watching him fall asleep, could be the most incredible feeling. I never imagined how a tiny baby who just smiles at you could cause your heart to melt beyond description.
Thank you Father....THANK YOU for my children...I beg you for their hearts...I beg you that as soon as it is possible, my sweet boys would give their hearts over to you, and let Christ be Lord over their lives.
